About
ACTC

Founded in 1992, ACTC operates nationwide with a mission to represent and support professionals across various segments of the logistics and transport sector.

We work in close collaboration with SINDICOMIS, joining efforts to advocate for and serve our members across Brazil.

One of our notable contributions includes participating in discussions around the Port Modernization Law (Law No. 8,630 of February 25, 1993)—a legislative milestone that led to the emergence of new professional categories in the maritime sector, all of which are now represented by our organization.

Moreover, we proudly serve as the official representative of FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations) in Brazil.

About
SINDICOMIS

The National Union of Shipping Agents, Freight Forwarders and Cargo, Logistics and Freight Intermediaries in International Trade was founded on May 10, 1948.

At the time, our organization was chaired by Raphael Ferraz and, at first, it coordinated the common interests of businesspeople only in the state of São Paulo. However, in 2023, we became nationwide.

We represent shipping agents, freight and logistics agents, freight forwarding companies and intermodal operators in defending their rights, in collective labor agreements, in the study and, consequently, in the preparation of proposals aimed at improving foreign trade legislation.

Our scope of responsibilities includes the important mission of entering into collective labor contracts (collective agreements, conventions, among others); electing or appointing representatives of the respective category and ensuring legal assistance services for our members.

Finally, the entity has the honor of bearing the Friendly Company of Justice seal, granted by the Superior Court of the State of São Paulo (TJSP) exclusively to companies and institutions that encourage the use of self-composition methods in conflict resolution, such as mediation and conciliation, for example, in order to foster the culture of social pacification, avoiding excessive judicialization.
